  • Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before tour start time. Tour begins exactly at stated time, entry to buildings are on timed reservations, and group must enter security together, therefore we are unable to accommodate for late arrivals.
  • Closest Metro stop: Capitol South (Orange/Blue/Silver Lines) - Exit station using main exit, walk approximately two blocks north on First Street SE.
  • The US Capitol and its surrounding complex are in a secure federal operation area and nearby parking is highly restricted. The nearest public parking is located at Union Station approximately .5 mile from meeting location. Alternative modes of transportation are highly encouraged.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

The tour guides were knowledgeable and very engaging!! I enjoyed the entire tour. I especially enjoyed learning about the Library of Congress; how it burned and was rebuilt using the extensive collection of Thomas Jefferson.

The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. However, I was under the impression that this was a small group tour for the entire time. I did not realize we would also be a part of a much larger group once we entered the Capitol. So we did cut our tour short. It's a good tour for people who do not mind being a part of a large tour group inside the Capitol.

Our tour guide, Anne-Marie was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and gave us so much information. We learned so much from the tour and it was so great to see everything inside the Capital and Library of Congress.
