Starting in 2024, tour is offered the third Sunday of the month at 2pm. Learn about some powerhouse women while walking through DC's beautiful Georgetown Neighborhood! During the early days of the Cold War and the Kennedy era, the Georgetown neighborhood was the center of Western power. Men made most of the policy, but women also made history. On this tour, you will learn about the fascinating lives of several women that learned how to make their mark in a man's world, in politics, journalism, and spycraft, all while walking through one of DC's most picturesque neighborhoods! Tour is approximately two hours.
  • 2 hours of fabulous information about some fabulous women, in DC's most charming neighborhood.
  • This tour stops at a local cafe for a bathroom break, where guests have the option of buying water or other refreshments.

My friend and I really enjoyed Katie's tour. She shared many inside stories regarding powerful DC ladies and the men in their lives. It was great to walk around Georgetown on a pleasant Fall afternoon and see the homes where they lived, including those of JFK and Jackie. Katie has a fun way of sharing history -- we learned a lot and loved her tour.
