This was our third guided tour from DC Design Tours and we can't wait for more! So much insight about the White House area, Pennsylvania Avenue, and the Capitol. We love these tours as opposed to just wandering around trying to decipher what's what in an unfamiliar area.
Very reasonably priced for the insight and knowledge you get. Well worth it!

I did think the tour guide was very knowledgeable and he shared interested/funny facts about the time period when deceased presidents lived. However, the title of this tour is very misleading. It’s best not to name this Tour with the White House in it because guests don’t get to “enter” the White House. Travelers coming from afar May not know that. I knew that but the other guests asked the tour guide if we were going to get a chance to go inside.

I had a wonderful tour of Pennsylvania Avenue with Carolyn! It was fascinating to stop and explore architectural delights hidden in plain sight along a major artery of DC. My favorite part of the tour was learning about the history and design of the Federal Triangle. I left the tour with a new appreciation of how Penn Ave and the Federal Triangle tie together DC’s downtown. Thank you, Carolyn!
