Sauk River Whitewater Rafting (Class 3-4)

We had a great day with these guys on the Sauk. Our guide Chris was easy going and kept everything lighthearted while getting us setup, and all business with some jokes and good stories sprinkled in once we got on the water. The gear was all dialed and clean and the shuttle was smooth. I’m pretty skeptical about swift water and these guys made it all feel pretty casual, really enjoyed the rapids on the Sauk! Our group is already talking about a return trip with Triad.

This was a five star experience from start to finish. The team that took us down the river was awesome! Chris was our lead guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and comes from a long background of rafting. Definitely makes you feel better knowing you are ripping down level 4 rapids with a guy like that leading the way. The other members of the team were great. Doug drove the bus. Loved the new blue jacket man. Hannah and Josh helped us with our gear and made sure we were safe out on the water. This group does a great job of focusing on safety and making sure everyone knows what to do in case of an emergency. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to go on an exciting adventure. We look forward to exploring different rapids. We will definitely use them again when we do.

Our trip down the Sauk today with guide Ronnie, and staff paddlers Andrew and Marley, was absolutely a blast! This was the first time we ever had river rafted and I was very anxious not fully knowing what to expect. The staff did a terrific job with our safety training, thoroughly answered questions and gave us a very realistic idea of what to expect. Ronnie was a very adept guide and got us down course with no troubles, easing up in some areas to keep us feeling secure, and giving us some extra adventure as we gained confidence. He made sure we had a positive, fun day! Triad River Tours is top notch with their first consideration being safety, safety, safety.
