We recommend using Google Maps as the Icelandic street names can be tricky. The Square is straight down from Laugavegur the main shopping street

While we enjoyed the food, we found our guide not very talkative and needed to keep asking questions to elicit details and information about the city and Iceland.

The food, and the guide was good too. Great experience, got to explore and learn about Iceland and the meaning of many of the traditions. Only issue was the rain.
