Jose is a great guide and driver. He showed us the highlights around Kakarta, to a local restaurant where we sampled different Indonesian foods, and shopping at a wonderful store that sells clothing made from Batik fabrics. The had beautiful men’s shirts and women’s dresses. You can also buy fabric yardage to take home. Next he took us to an incredible antiques flea market where we bought some lovely pieces to take home. The prices were quite reasonable after we haggled with the seller. A most memorable day!

It was nice to see the sights and to be in a car. The driver kindly drove slowly as we passed some landmarks. Got to sample local foods too!
