Enjoy panoramic views of this picturesque town from our iconic double-decker buses, as well our recorded audio commentary accessible in several languages! The tour will take you to the town’s best sights, including the Norwegian Fjord Centre an UNESCO World Heritage Site and the amazing Flydalsjuvet Viewpoint!

  • Mobile and paper vouchers are accepted for this tour.
  • Mobile vouchers must be redeemed at Bus Stop 1 (Cruise Ship Terminal). Paper vouchers can be redeemed at any of the stops along the route.
  • With your voucher, enjoy flexible access for up to 12 months from the travel date you select at check-out.
  • Please note, all customers whether they arrive with a ticket or buy one on-site, will receive a specific departure time. This will be assigned when the voucher is exchanged for a ticket. This is to ensure all customers are seated and some seats are still available for those coming back from the tour
  • Important: When you arrive in Geiranger, please make sure to check-in and exchange your ticket at the main ticket office. Time slots will be given to you if the day has a busy schedule of departures. Note that most bus departures are on cruise days and times that suit incoming cruise ships. Please make sure to find out what time the last departure is, which can be found at the ticket office and on the bus.
  • If customers hop-off the bus they will have to take the next one in 30 minutes, except at Stop 4 where the bus makes a u-turn, and the same bus passes by in about 10 minutes on the way back down
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Belachelijke prijs voor deze tour binnen 5 min naar boven om een foto te nemen van het fjord.dan weer naar beneden(4 stops ) .35 euro schandalig. Uit stappen bij Museum (2e stop)en terug lopen langs de waterval .erg mooi.

If you are on a cruise ship and don't want to pay the big prices for shore excursions, there is pretty much nothing else to do in Geiranger., The tour is a ride up the mountain and down on a two decker bus - most likely in the rain. The views are stunning. Also if you are a hiker, this is a good way to get up and walk down. Otherwise, it is an expensive bus ride - less than an hour.

Lagen im August mit der AIDA in Geiranger 13:30-20h. Haben den Hop on Hop Off Bus gebucht. Da Geiranger nicht viel zu bieten hat hatte der Bus nur 3 Stops. Nachdem wir den ersten Stop erkundet hatten und zum zweiten gefahren wurden gab uns der Busfahrer bekannt, dass um 16h Feierabend ist. Leider haben wir von den drei Haltestellen somit nur zwei anschauen können. Bei der Buchung wurde uns von einem Feierabend um 16h nicht besprochen der Preis ist für die wenigen Stops nicht angemessen. Bitte nicht mehr einsteigen!
