The trip was absolutely magnificent, 7 hours of driving through some fantastic view spots. Tim is a splendid guide and told us a lot about the history of the region and people who made it famous.Definitely wanna come back in this region.Thank you so much!

Hands down, this was the very best, most informative tour company I've ever been on a tour with!! I was able to take two of their tours (Winter Scenic Tour + Brontes/Haworth Tour), and I wish I could take every single tour they give! I'm planning another trip to England for next year just to go back to the Lake District and take these tours with English Lake District Tours-- seriously. I told Tim and Jill (my guides) that they've officially ruined all other tours for me because these two tours were SO INCREDIBLE. I'm a professional historic presenter, and the amount of context and knowledge they gave on both of these tours blew my mind. This company's attention to detail, passion, and generosity made these tours my favorite part of my entire trip to England!!! If you want a THOROUGH tour of the absolute best of the Lake District and The Brontes (among all their other tours I want to take), BOOK THESE! Unlike other tours that give you a brief overview then drop you off at a site/museum, English Lake District Tours give you complete context, taking you to additional sites that tie the entire experience together. I came into the Brontes tour knowing very little, and left the day with the coolest information to reread their books with! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jill and Tim!! The memories you gave me will last my lifetime, and beware that I'm already planning to come back next year! :) Cannot wait!

Amazing day touring the Lake District last November 17, Saturday! We were very fortunate to have a beautiful weather! Tim toured us around and he knows Lake District so well.. Tim took us to many breathtaking views! totally a legit scenic tour! Surreal! My husband and I were very happy to have such a wonderful experience in Lake District. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
