This 12 day tour is the perfect overview of Namibia’s highlights. Enjoy sightings of wildlife at the Okonjima Nature Reserve and Etosha National Park before immersing ourselves into the rich culture of the Himba tribe. We explore Namibia’s Skeleton Coast and visit the seals at Cape Cross before taking a short break from camping in Swakopmund, Namibia’s adventure capital. Here we can enjoy any number of adrenaline inducing optional activities before starting our journey south. Our next stop after crossing the Tropic of Capricorn is Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert, home to some of the world’s highest sand dunes. Continuing on to Namibia’s deep south with breath taking landscapes abound, we visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop, spot the wild horses of the Namib Desert, gaze over the Fish River Canyon, before ending an incredible 12 day trip with the last night at the impressive Quiver Tree Forest before returning to Windhoek. This is the ultimate Namibian adventure for the budget traveller!

    I recently joined a 12 day Chameleon Safaris tour and it was brilliant! We saw so much, had a great group and I had lots of fun! Stefanus was a fantastic knowledgeable friendly guide, always super organised. Stefanus and Bronihel cooked amazing food for us, easily catering for me as a vegetarian, and both were always ready to answer questions and help with putting up tents or anything else needed. I wouldnt hesitate to travel with Chameleon again. The only improvement to the tour would be to include an extra day in Swakopmund and/or Kalahari.

    The 12 days namibian classics Safari was a total blast. You‘ll see a lot of Namibia‘s different landscapes and animals. We travelled with Taimi as our guide and Chimunya as our driver/guide to be. Taimi is a really great host, a lovely person, and an amazing cook! Chimunya is a super funny guy and a reliable driver. I highly recommend to go on this trip and experience Namibia with the eyes of a local - and if you get Taimi and Chimunya as your hosts, you’ll have the time of your life!

    We did a 12 day camping trip with Chameleon. Taimi was our guise,and Rudolph as a driver. We had such a great time and had such a fun group. Taimi is very happy and bubbly and makes an amazing guide...and a wonderful cook. Rudolph is always good for a laugh and keeps us on schedule. Jessica also deserves a mention, she was great with communicating and helped us out so quickly when there was an issue with out hostel the end of the trip. Highly recommeded!
