Taste olive oil at the source at Melissakis Olive Oil Mill. Learn how olive oil is made and about the quality levels of olive oil. Next tour our family estate in the mountains of Chania. Your host, Vasili, is a beekeeper and winemaker. Taste wines directly from the barrel. Then suit up and visit the bees, find the queen, and learn how honey is made. Next enjoy a light lunch in our own vineyards with a view of the Lefka Ori mountains.

We had a fabulous day with Vasili on this tour! It was highly informative and interesting, we loved the drive to his vineyard and sharing a delicious freshly made meal. It was a real treat to be offered Vasili’s own wines in his wine tasting lesson and be able to help with the bees. Vasili is very passionate about his work and we loved all he taught us. We highly recommend this tour!

One of my favorite days in Crete. Vasilis was fun, informative, energetic and laid back all at the same time. He and the tour helped create wonderful memories, which I will tell over and over again. We were lucky enough to have his mama Tammy wander out to the lunch with us. After meeting her. I can see where Vasilis gets his charm from.
