    Visited yesterday, had a brilliant time! We were just a small tour group so we all had a chance to get picked on! (I was found guilty by the Judge... my crime? Being from Newcastle!) The whole tour is hilarious, and the actors are fantastic. I agree with another reviewer... would love to see a Newcastle Dungeon!

    We were part of a small group entering the dungeons. It was a great trip and great fun and laughter was had by all.....not to mention the odd scream! Fantastic room sets and props and the actors were really engaging. Highly recommend.

    My almost 13 year old wrote this review of her visit to York Dungeon. 5 star York dungeon review I recently went to the York Dungeon after having watched and read about this experience for a few years from the safety from behind my screen. Finally I got up the courage to go in person and it did not disappoint. All the sets, actors, special effects and storylines were amazing. Everyone involved are so talented and believable you immediately become immersed in the story. As well as the horror (which kept everyone on the edge of their seats) the history and truth behind the characters was extremely fascinating. You learn something new in every room whilst still having fun. The horror and scares were more than I expected but in a good way. Overall, I highly recommend the dungeon to anyone interested in history, horror, acting or just looking for a good day out. If you have a really bad back, epilepsy are pregnant and have heart problems I would think about it again as in many rooms it would not be suitable for you and the actors will escort you to the next room that is safe for you. So will you dare to face the dungeon?
