Yummy Yummy Street Food Tasting + Kuala Lumpur Night Tour(Guided)

If you stumble across this review then you are very lucky, because you too now have the opportunity to join this tour. We traveled to KL as a family of four and wanted to do something different, we wanted to see the city through different eyes, and not part of a big touristy group. This ticked ever box. We were picked up at our hotel at 7pm by Michelle and Wesley from Golden Blossom Tours - their local knowledge is incredible but spontaneous and so not scripted. They drove us to ’Queens’ restaurant which is over 60 years old and is basically a street food hub where locals eat and have done forever. The food is cooked on carts surrounding the venue. Michelle ordered everything and it was DELICIOUS! The Sate’s and Pork Buns were the best we have ever eaten. We would normally be to scared to eat in a place like this, but honestly we just trusted them and never once felt nervous about trying everything. After dinner Wesley drove us through the city in the comfy van, he and Michelle pointed things out - big and small, told us funny stories, and treated us like old friends. We hopped in and out, taking photos and asking questions which tbdu had answers for every time. For supper we went to a traditional Malaysian Indian 24 hour cafe called Pelita. We all thought there was no way we could possibly eat anything but once again Michelle ordered for us and we finished the night of with traditional cold milky tea sweet Indian rotis and something that I can only describe as one of the most delicious things we've ever eaten a roti tissue. Now we were bursting but very happily so!!! Michelle and Wes dropped us back to our hotel at about 10.30. We were do impressed with them both we asked about doing something else with them during the day. Michelle quickly arranged a day trip which I will cover in another review, yes it was also incredible so make sure you read it too. Michelle und Wesley führten uns kompetent durch das nächtliche Kuala Lumpur. Wir erfuhren sehr viel von Land und Leuten und da an diesem Abend auch noch überraschenderweise der König zurücktrat, auch uber die Malayische Politik. Die Stadtführung im klimatisierten Fahrzeug wurde unterbrochen durch 2 Essstopps, wo wir in einheimischen Lokalen einfaches aber authentisches Essen aufgetischt bekamen. Das Essen war mehr als reichlich und sehr abwechslungsreich, die beiden Guides haben uns sehr gut unterhalten und uns einige schöne Ecken ihrer Stadt gezeigt. Eine tolle Kombination Stadttour und Streetfood.
