We did a one day private wine tour with Jakov. He was very friendly and made us feel at home. He speaks great English so communication wasn’t a problem at all. Jakov is amazingly knowledgeable and he shared with us many interesting stories about the places we were visiting, history, politics, etc. We visited Maribor and Plešivica where we had an amazing time tasting wine and enjoying a delicious home made lunch by one of Jakov’s friends. The food was homely but incredibly tasty! We enjoyed ourselves and it felt like a friend bringing you around his country instead of a commercial tour. There was no pressure to buy things and we didn’t have a tight schedule to follow. Jakov was also very responsive when we were corresponding over email and he was able to customize the itineraries according to our personal preferences. Highly recommended!

We had a great couple of days with Marko who was terrific. Nothing was ever too much trouble. He was knowledgeable and patient and made it a easy and enjoyable day with seeing and learning lots of things but also in a nice and relaxed way. The two wineries were interesting and meeting and talking to the wine maker Robert and enjoying the home cooked meal by his wife with matching wines was really great. Thank you.
