This is a Full-day private trip that includes snorkeling at Pungume Island Reef, spending time at Pungume Island Sandbank, enjoying a fresh seafood platter, and visiting Uzi Island and Mangroves. Also, on this trip you might encounter Humpback whales (Between June to October), Bottlenose Dolphins, Red Colobus monkeys, Coconut crabs, and much more. You will experience most of what the Indian Ocean offers on this trip.

  • Kizimkazi, Kizimkazi, Tanzania
    After hotel pickup, we will go to Kizimkazi Beach and start the trip Before departing from Kizimkazi Beach, we will provide you with a snorkeling mask and flippers, and a lifejacket of your size in case you need one.

  • Pungume Island, Tanzania
    After departing from Kizimkazi Beach Village, we will first go to Pungume Island Reef. On The way to Pungume Island, we might encounter groups of dolphins and humpback whales (mostly between June and October), if we will encounter any, we will make a stop so you can get some photos. Pungume Island reef is located between Zanzibar Island and Tanzania Mainland. It's one of the best reefs in Zanzibar that can offer a great experience for snorkelers. While snorkeling you might encounter green turtles, seahorses, Octopus, frogfish, Trumpetfish, Napoleon Wrasse, Lionfish, Stonefish, zebrafish, starfish, Bluefin Trevally, Leaffish, Scorpionfish, and many others.

  • H8R9+F8, Fumba, Tanzania
    After snorkeling, we will go to Pungume Sandbank. it's one of the biggest Sandbanks in Zanzibar. The Sandbank has clean white sand surrounded by crystal clear water of the Indian Ocean. We will set up a beach tent, where you can sit and get shade. Also, it where will serve you tropical fruits, and later seafood platter for lunch with soft drinks. You can enjoy walking around the Sandbank, might encounter Starfish, take photos, and swim.

  • Uzi Island, Tanzania
    Uzi Island is only accessible by boats during high tides only, somedays we have to start the trip by going to Uzi Island first when high tides it is in the morning. On some days, we have to skip Uzi Island due to low tides, which makes it impossible to go by boat. At Uzi Island, we will take you around by boat and see different species of Mangroves. Also, you will encounter red colobus monkeys (an endemic species) and coconut crabs.

    After the trip, we will return to Kizimkazi Beach and take you back to your hotel/ Accommodation

Parfait pour voir 20 bateaux encerclant les dauphins. A fuir. Le banc de sable à marée basse? La même chose, plein de touristes bruyants avec barbecue.

We did a private tour with our own captain, seeing and swimming with the Dolphins was an amazing experience. Beach was beautiful but we didn't feel that the whole experience was worth the money having been to Mauritius.
