Mikumi National Park is grass land national park with very good visibility. There is 100% to see the following animals:- Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope, Hippopotamus, Crocodile, Baboon and Birds. There is 90 percent to see Lion and 75 percent to see Leopard.

We came with a White Toyota Alphard that will come and pick you up at your hotel, if you are more then 7 people we can pick you up with either Minibus of 15 seats or Bus of 30 Seats

  • Mikumi National Park, Tanzania
    We will pick up our visitors at their respective hotel anywhere in Zanzibar at 05:00 AM. Will have a 1 hour transfer to Karume International Airport, we will reach one hour before departure in the morning and depart at 07:15 AM to Mikumi, we reach at 08:15 AM at Mikumi Airstrip. We will off-board the Airplane and onboard the 4X4 Jeep and start our Mikumi Safari Adventure game drive from 08:30 Am in the morning to 03:30 PM or 04:30 PM evening time. Our guests will experience the wildlife nature of Mikumi National Park. They will see wild animals like lion, elephant, zebra, giraffe, antelope, buffalo, crocodile, hippopotamus, baboon, a wide variety of birds. Also not to forget we will see different tree species at the Mikumi National Park. Then we go back to Mikumi Airstrip and depart by 03:30 / 04:30 back to Zanzibar. We then reach Karume International Airport at 05:30. After arrival and pass through Airport inspection we take a car transfer and reach hotel 07:00 PM.

Nice trip. Very well organized. The taxi driver picked us from the hotel reception and waiting for us in the AirPort. We saw lot of animals and the guy in the park was also very helpful. The lunch was excellent. The whole trip took aprox. 12 hours.

A wonderful and well planned day trip. Very professional pickup/travel and tour guide/driver during the safari. I have been looking forward to seeing the magnificent animals in their real habitat and I wasn’t disappointed. By far the best trip of our vacation! Ps bring some snack or eat an early breakfast.
