Vic Falls and Chobe Parks were fantastic and wholly met expectations, and transportation arrangements (including border handoff) were timely and smooth. The sunset cruise on the Zambezi is a must, and all of our game boats/drives were successes. However, the camping was not quite as envisioned. We were in a campground at the edge of an in town lodge. On the plus side the tents and sleeping bags/mats and bedding were clean and in good condition and the shared bathroom & showers were fine, it was not “bush camping”. The camping area was used by some self-driving visitors (with campers) and some drivers, and we were tucked together pretty closely. We had access to the lodge facilities (5+ min walk), but there was no real space to sit/hang out at the campsite, so it was a somewhat awkward arrangement. We spent the first night in the tents (safe and slept well), but we relocated to alternate accommodations for night #2. The Botswana safari team (Kimpho and Philamon) were very attentive and accommodating.
