Zurich has a beautiful, historic old town. Many of the buildings are several hundred years old. In small, private groups, we, two local residents, will guide you for about two hours through winding alleys and cosy squares, right across the old town on both sides of the Limmat river. We will visit places where you can feel the rich history of the city and which can only be reached via special access.

Maria was great! We had visited sites in Zurich previously, but we really enjoyed learning about Zurich in a way that is very difficult without a local guide. She took us by Einstein's locker at the University of Zurich and told us about how a group of Zurich women and children had scared off an invading army when their husbands/fathers were off fighting a war. She gave us stories and personal insights that were a highlight of our trip.

This was a hidden gem! Maria was an amazing guide with wonderful information about the historic district of Zürich. We were just planning a fun stroll on the evening we arrived, so we were surprised at how much information we learned during this thoroughly enjoyable tour.

The tour gave us a good experience of the historic area of Zurich. Our guide was excellent and was very knowledgeable about the city. We had about eight people on the tour, and this was a good size.
