This tour started about 715am. Was greeted by a bubbly and cheerful guide Eddy and a extremely friendly driver Loonie. We headed to Targatay with a few stops along the way. Eddy was sweet to throw in a extra "surprise" activity on the way up. It's was very thoughtful and pleasing.
( won't share here to spoil the surprise in case you decide to sign up) From here we went on to try the infamous balut. Was funny since Loonie accompanied another guest to try it. For me, I wasn't too daring on food choice. At Targatay, the scenery is amazing and weather was beautiful. As it as a clear day, we could see the volcano Taal which last erupted in 2012.
After that we took a boat ride as well as we wanted to have a closer look at the volcano, now this is additional too not part of the iternary. But was thoughtful of Eddy to suggest to us. The ride was amazing but be warned to bring on some poncho, can get a little wet. But tats all good. The boatman provided plastic sheets as well. We eventually has lunch there as well. What I like about this tour and the guide was there was wasn't choices given to us, like if we would like to eat here or we could go somewhere else etc. It wasn't a dead routine. Finally after the boat ride we head back to Manila for the historical sites, covering the Paco park and another site ( I forgot the name, we were too tired at this point. ) Overall this trip is really value for money, it was well planned with many places to visit. As I was travelling with my elder parents, we had to call it a day as they were all too tired to continue. Highly recommended. Thanks Eddy and Loonie for making my short stay in Manila enjoyable. Ps: bring sunscreen!!
