We booked our tickets at the same time as our hotel booking making them much cheaper. It was out of school holidays and during the week when we visited so wasn’t too busy. We were lucky to have a really sunny day. There was lots to walk around, look at and all the exhibits had lots of information to read. After walking around for a few hours, we had a cup of tea at the conservatory cafe, overlooking the grounds and had a friendly peacock visit. The food and drink is quite expensive but that’s what you expect at these places. The highlight of the day was the Falconry display, The Falconers Quest, at the end of the day. It was amazing and I would highly recommend seeing it. The only negative was that there were no signs near the display areas saying when they were on and we missed the Trebuchet display. We should have asked when we arrived, but forgot.
