As soon as we pulled out of the bus lot, we got in a car accident. This wasn’t the driver’s fault, but he was yelling and very worked up. Then, about 30 minutes later, I was woken up from ANOTHER car accident. I am not sure what happened, but again, our driver was enraged and clearly angered the other driver enough to purposely hit us (so he claims). This second accident caused about an hour and a half delay. We were on the side of the road, no AC in the bus, awful radio talk on rather than anything harry potter related, and it was very stressful and frustrating. The tour returned hours later than expected and I missed my dinner reservation for the evening.

Easy to find bus station and gate. Bus ride was comfortable. With ride to the studios and time to experience the studio-cutting things short to get back to bus on time. We did not do everything and it was time to find the bus. Another hour would have given time to do all the little extras.

Booked in April to go in the day in September as that was the earliest, me my wife and 9 year old daughter went, it was a Sunday morning. If you love cues then this is the place for you! They give you these stamp books that you get stamped on ever set, only thing is some sets only had one machine and everyone wanted to get there book stamped! We were in a group of around 50/60 people maybe more, everyone rushed to each set to get photos, it was so annoying, everything is barrier off so you have to lean over the bars to even see inside. For the money they spent making it and what they charged, I was expecting more, there was about 5 things you could actually sit in, the gift shop was a joke aswell, massive cues again! And a cape was £75! Absolutely sickening, just designed to make money, not at all for fans or for the children, just another money making attraction. They have signs up saying “free experience” then they take a picture and video and then you find out for one of the pics is £14 but if you want the video it’s £50 with two photos! Plus the picture templates are awful. Don’t try the “butter beer” again it’s just Aweful tasting beer, they must make it so cheap and sell it at maximum price. I recon if there was no crowds you could do the whole place in about 2 hours! It was all day just cueing to see it. I wouldn’t recommend going on a week day. I spoke to one of the workers and he said they have around 70,000 people go through a day, week days is quieter apparently.
