Trüffelsuche am Braccianosee mit Mittagessen

I can’t recommend this experience enough. We were in Italy on our honeymoon for 2 weeks and this was the BEST experience. I can’t believe how little it costs for what you get! It’s 6-7 hours long (total experience), plus escaping the city, heading up into the mountains for breathtaking views, rides to & from the train station, learning about truffles & spending time with the adorable dogs, meeting people from around the world, AND THEN an amazing 7 course delicious meal afterward at Matteo’s beautiful home (made by Matteo featuring truffles), along with homemade wine ~so much wine~, and homemade aperitif! It’s an insane value for your money… Just the dinner alone is worth more. And it was a once in a lifetime experience I will never forget. Matteo is also very kind, knowledgeable and a great driver. And I just loved those dogs so much. They were quite well behaved and great at their job! I hope that when we return to Italy, Matteo is still offering this experience because we will without hesitation do it again. I’m so so happy we did this! Book it!!! I literally sought out a way to write a 5-star review for this since I purchased through his website directly. People need to know how great this experience is!

Esperienza bellissima, Matteo estremamente disponile e gentile. Abbiamo fatto una interessante uscita nel bosco con Matteo e i suoi bellissimi cani e successivamente una ottima mangiata di 7 portate al tartufo. Ambiente super pulito e cibo di qualità. Inoltre abbiamo conosciuto altre persone da altre parti del mondo, se volete provare una esperienza diversa dalle tante Matteo vi offre qualcosa di veramente unico. Per coloro che si lamentano che l’esperienza è in inglese , beh lui si deve adeguare alla maggior parte della lingua del gruppo ma una volta che ha terminato il discorso o la spiegazione di un concetto la ripete in italiano per integrare tutti. È un modo per passare una giornata diversa a contatto con la natura vedendo e facendo delle cose che normalmente sarebbe difficile vedere o fare.

While the hiking was a bit more intense at times than I expected, this was the most amazing experience ever. Matteo was so nice and the dogs were awesome. The dinner afterwards at his villa, with the ambiance was the most memorable thing we’ve experienced. I highly recommend this. You’ll work up a good appetite and finish it off with the best meal you can imagine.
