Pasta-Kochkurs in Florenz

This is something I highly recommend doing. At the beginning you watch a very funny video about pasta in Italy and are greets with drinks. Our chef Jasmine was very entertaining and so helpful in teaching us with a great attention to detail. She truely made the experience involving everyone in the experience. The pasta making itself was excellent and was so amazing to feel that you can actually make 3 diff pastas from scratch. You are given an apron with I love pasta on I which was super cute for photos. Jasmine went out of her way to make sure we all got pictures and even shaped the fettuccini in a love heart shape. She even taught us how to present the pasta and all these other small details you wouldn’t learn else where. Plus you are given a recipe to make the pasta later. The facilities were excellent and very homey, felt like you were in an Italian kitchen and when we all sat down to have our pasta it felt like a beautiful family meal. Followed by limoncello and a desert. The experience is something me and my friend will never forget. Please do this when you go to Florence :)

So much fun at this class with our party of six! Learned a lot about pasta making, had a lot of laughs and ate a brilliant meal. Definitely recommend!

This was a really fun time. We made a couple pastas, the chef teaching us made the sauces. They offered a couple wines to taste. The only downside was we had a couple kids in the class and the pasta you make gets all it together with everyone in the class (12 people). They ensure everyone washes hands prior but can’t guarantee what people are doing with their hands after washing. One of us found hair in our food which we assume came from one of the kids. Would do again but would recommend perhaps requiring hairnets since you are eating food that non professional people who haven’t gone through food safety course have a hand in preparing.
