As an experienced traveler, I’ve learned that the true magic of a destination often lies in the hands of the guide—and Roily exceeded every expectation. Traveling with a diverse group in terms of age and ability can be a challenge, but Roily navigated it with remarkable grace. He brought the history of the Inca people to life with captivating storytelling, gently supported my elderly mother along the more difficult paths, and even doubled as a photographer—capturing Insta-worthy shots that thrilled my college-aged daughter. By the end of our time at Machu Picchu, every member of our group—regardless of pace or perspective—left feeling fulfilled, inspired, and genuinely happy. It’s no small feat to create that kind of harmony in such a condensed time frame, but Roily managed it royally/effortlessly. He didn’t just guide us—he elevated the entire experience.

We booked our 10 day vacation with Cusco Local Friend. Lima, Machu Picchu, and Lake Titicaca and much more (culture, sights, cooking class, hiking, white water rafting, zip lining, ATV). From start to finish, this was one of the best decisions I have made for traveling. The attention to detail at every step was well worth it. The vacation truly left me refreshed knowing that I did not have to worry about anything. The planning faze was easy. They listened and helped plan, leaving free time and ensuring everything flowed with ease. From the first pick up, keeping me informed every step of the way to the end when our flight left Peru. I never had to question anything. It is almost too good to be true. I would highly recommend this tour company. Tour guides were great. Educate, knowledgeable, informative, patient, and easy going. One suggestion ... gotcha ... arrived at 5:00 am on the first day and went right into a tour at 8:00 am...drinking water was definitely needed. YET, every other step of the way water was available and amply provided. :)

We booked this tour about 3 weeks before going on a recommendation of some friends that had used this company in January. We were very pleased how quickly the company responded to our emails and queries. We really did not know what to expect and were very pleased that Abraham and Willy met us at Cusco airport from Lima. I don't think we fully realized when we booked that we would be the only two on the tour. From the time of pickup to drop off in Cusco 3 days later we were so amazed at the incredibly beautiful green mountainous landscapes and the people we met. It was truly a wonderful adventure. Abraham was a wealth of information on the Incas and Peru in general. His English was very good and he was very professional and explained everything to us so we knew exactly what was going to happen and was always on time. Although Willy did not speak as much English he was always ready with a clean vehicle and was very helpful making sure we got to our destinations safely. And there were some interesting roads we travelled on! The accomodations for the two nights were fantastic. I highly recommend Cusco Local Friend tours. - The Quinns
