    We start this guided tour from: - Your Hotel in Aguas Calientes (If you stay in this town on the previous night) - Train Station in Aguas Calientes (if you are on a day trip from Ollantaytambo or Cusco)
  • Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu, Peru
    Choose the departure time to suit your schedule – between early morning to early afternoon entry time (based on availability)– and meet your private guide at your Hotel or the Train Station in Aguas Calientes. Then, hop aboard your bus and take the short 25 min. journey up the hillside to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed site of Machu Picchu. Once there, head inside along with your Guide to explore the Inka Citadel of Machu Picchu and enjoy a complete guided tour of this amazing site (Guided Tour takes 2.5 – 3 hours approx) Your Guide will take you to the key sites including the Guard House viewpoint, the Main Temple, the Royal Tomb, the Sacred Plaza, the Temple of the Three Windows and son at your own pace. As you explore the site, capture amazing photos of the amazing views at Machu Picchu, including the Sun Gate the Temple of the Sun, and so on. When your time in Machu Picchu comes to an end, return by shuttle Bus to Aguas Calientes to conclude your tour.

    Amazing experience. Roy (Roily) had everything taken care of- getting us through the bus & entrance lines, knowing the best views & making space for us in the crowds, super knowledgeable about the site/history/culture, and taking awesome pics/videos. Was very patient and great with our kid. Everyone knew him, he got us a table for lunch after the tour.

    As an experienced traveler, I’ve learned that the true magic of a destination often lies in the hands of the guide—and Roily exceeded every expectation. Traveling with a diverse group in terms of age and ability can be a challenge, but Roily navigated it with remarkable grace. He brought the history of the Inca people to life with captivating storytelling, gently supported my elderly mother along the more difficult paths, and even doubled as a photographer—capturing Insta-worthy shots that thrilled my college-aged daughter. By the end of our time at Machu Picchu, every member of our group—regardless of pace or perspective—left feeling fulfilled, inspired, and genuinely happy. It’s no small feat to create that kind of harmony in such a condensed time frame, but Roily managed it royally/effortlessly. He didn’t just guide us—he elevated the entire experience.

    We booked our 10 day vacation with Cusco Local Friend. Lima, Machu Picchu, and Lake Titicaca and much more (culture, sights, cooking class, hiking, white water rafting, zip lining, ATV). From start to finish, this was one of the best decisions I have made for traveling. The attention to detail at every step was well worth it. The vacation truly left me refreshed knowing that I did not have to worry about anything. The planning faze was easy. They listened and helped plan, leaving free time and ensuring everything flowed with ease. From the first pick up, keeping me informed every step of the way to the end when our flight left Peru. I never had to question anything. It is almost too good to be true. I would highly recommend this tour company. Tour guides were great. Educate, knowledgeable, informative, patient, and easy going. One suggestion ... gotcha ... arrived at 5:00 am on the first day and went right into a tour at 8:00 am...drinking water was definitely needed. YET, every other step of the way water was available and amply provided. :)
