Absolutely avoid at all costs this company, they are not well-intended people, they demand that you deliver your passport and the scooters do not have a minimum of safety and quality that is required to be able to drive in Tulum roads without being injured. Me and my girlfriend rented a scooter for one day. We left the hotel and 300 meters afterwards the tire got destroyed but fortunately I was able to hold the bike without falling, it could have been much worse. I know that if they reply they are going to say that flat tires are charged to the customer and I am not arguing with that. However, when you rent a bike for a day and the bike breaks after 300 meters it is clear whose fault it is. After communicating this to the company their first concern was stating that this had a cost, not even caring for us. At this point all we wanted was to get our passport back and be charged for the tire (even though it was unfair) and getting back the remaining money since we use the bike for 2 min. When we stated that to Mauro he said he did not have the passport and that he had to get it back from the office. He were desperate to continue our much needed vacation day in Tulum and it was only after I agreed to lose the entire money that I paid that Mauro, by a mix of magic and terrible lying skills, opened his bag and gave me the passport that was there the entire time. So not only shady but also liars.
I would recommend everyone to avoid this company, unless you want your vacations to be ruined.
