Ab Yogyakarta: Tagestour zu den Tempeln Borobudur und Prambanan

I loved it and my driver was super amazing! I travel alone as a woman, so it’s super important for me that everything is safe and well organized. The communication was very dynamic and it was easy to make some adjustments during the ride.

WARNING SCAM ! We organized our tour 10 days before with Mr. Dion. We wanted to visit Borobudur, Merapi and Prambanan all inclusive. Monsieur Dion offered us $150 US. This is what he wrote: "Yes ..totally cost for this tour is 2.250K IDR, Including = 1. Private car good aircond 2. English speaking driver 3. Gasoline 4. Parking fees 5. Mineral water 6. 1 jeep at merapi 7. Entrance ticket for ( borobudur + prambanan temples for 2 pax ) Not included for Personal expense + meals " Duration is flexible" We did not negotiate the price. The day before, Mr. Dion contacted me to change the price. He told me he forgot to count the jeep ride in his price which increased to US$196. He raised the price by US$46. I pointed out to him that in his description above he had included the jeep tour (number 6). But given the delays and the difficulty of organizing a new tour the day before, we accepted the increase. On July 6, the driver Danny took care of us. Danny is very kind, professional, a careful driver. He deserves 5 stars! We were on time in the morning to respect the tight timing. On the day of the visit, everything went very well thanks to the driver Danny. Unfortunately, the Merapi was in the mist. Impossible to see it. The jeep tour was no longer of interest, and this one having supposedly been forgotten in the initial calculation of the price, it had not been reserved. Indeed, no jeep driver available before 20 minutes. The Merapi being on the way, between the temples of Borobudur and Prambanan, we did not make a detour for this jeep tour which we did not realize. We continued the circuit and at the end of the day we expected to pay US$ 150 (2.250K IDR) since the jeep tour was not done. Well Mr. Dion claimed US$ 170, US$ 20 more than expected. He had no argument to explain this increase. We strongly refused I think it is useful to warn you, WARNING SCAM!

Overall a great day and very reliable service provided. From the initial whatsapp connection I felt like I was in good hands. We spoke at length about different options and I decided upon Borobudur and Prambanan. I was picked up early morning by Andrie and had a great day exploring temples and learning more about Indonesia's history. He arranged tickets to climb to the top of Borobudur which was definitely a highlight of the day. Water was provided throughout the day and had great conversation. Andrie was easy to chat with and we shared some laughs throughout the day. As a solo traveler this was a great options and I would highly recommend that others use this service.
