This was a beautiful experience. Of course , Mama Nina is delightful. She had a neighbor who interpreted very well. The shared cooking and coaching were quite fun. The French couple we shared the experience with were very engaging. We were given a ride to and form Mama Nina’s in the castle in Berat. Wonderful travel experience!

We would absolutely do it again. My favorite part was the hosts sharing about their lives, learning about a youth under the communist regime, and all the changes that have occurred in the Berat Castle village over time. This isn't a Cordon Bleu class on special cooking techniques for luxury foods. Instead it's an opportunity to learn how real Albanians cook traditional foods in a home setting. Absolutely recommend.

Nina and mikail were really warm and welcoming. It was lovely to chat with them and cook a truly hearty and delicious meal! I really recommend people to get stuck in :D
