25 Oct 2024
We went to Ghouls Night Out on October 24, 2025. Before the pandemic we had done many years of the Halloween park night. This year was a disappointment. Upon entering the park there was a man with a microphone sitting near the old hearse. He was weird with his comments and not in a Halloween way. It was not an enjoyable way to enter or leave the event.
The volunteers giving directions and information were great. Our favorite moment was when a gentleman walked down the middle of the street calling 'make way for the dead, make way for the dead. And then a horse and carriage hearse followed, The corpse in the coffin made his presence known.
Unfortunately the park was too dark even for a Halloween event. It was so dark, we couldn't see the other guests costumes unless we were right next to them. And it was hard to view the decorations and volunteers who where dressed in Halloween costumes along the pathways as lighting was so poor. Again after attending many previous years, we found this year to have been too dark to enjoy the event.
