This day trip to Zaanse Schans and Giethoorn offers free hotel pick-up service in Amsterdam. This unique tour has maximum 8 persons* per group, so we can have full focus on each individual traveller. A luxury and comforable mini van (Mecedes brand) will wait for you in front of your hotel. A bottled water will be provided to each traveller. Power bank, umbrella are provided and free to use during whole trip. In the morning, you would visit a Dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoe factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that we will travel to Giethoorn, you would discover the 'Green Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn. This trip is suitable for the travellers who want to spend more time in two places. This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with lots of beautiful photos. *Please note: at the peak season, we might combine two groups together, but we will contact you in advance about this.

Traveler pickup is offered

- Please be prepared and wait in front of your hotel before 5 minutes of our arrival.
- We offer pick-up service for all the hotels in the highway Ring A10, excluding north part of the IJ River. Travelers can take free ferry bus to central station from north Amsterdam. We don't pick up from the airport area.
- One day before the tour, we will contact you regarding exact hotel pick up time. We pick up between 8:00 - 9:00.

    At Zaanse Schans, the natural windmill village, you would first have a private guided Dutch cheese factory tour, to know how to make Gouda cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different flavors of cheese. After that, you will visit a Dutch wooden shoes factory, over here you would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the 'Royal Lady' diamond with 268 facets. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take a lot of photos.

    This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private demonstration to understand how to make traditional Dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 26 different flavors.

    At this attraction, you would expect to see a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by traditional clog makers, get to know the history of wooden shoes, and see different types of wooden shoes. You could have wooden shoes try-on here with different paintings / colors. Of course you can take as many photos as you want.

    After Zaanse Schans, we will travel to Giethoorn. You would explore the ‘Green Little Venice’ of the Netherlands. You will enjoy about 4 hours here to explore the sights by yourself and your loved ones. we include 1 hour traditional boat cruise here. But if you want, you could cruise your own boat by yourself, that would have more fun with your family or friends.

⭐⭐????⭐⭐????⭐⭐???? What an incredible tour! Geithoorn has been on my travel bucket list for almost 10 years and I have no regets booking the small custom tour. Leidse is an incredibly energetic, accommodating guide. He's extremely knowledgeable and will.make if worth your money! His passion for sharing information about the Netherlands really is something that cannot be found on any other tours. It was an honour getting to learn more about the country from him.... And he takes great photos! Thank you again Leidse for being a fantastic guide

What an amazing day! We got to see the real windmills, learn about the dyke, cruise around the Netherlands own little Venice and much more! A perfect balance of guided and self guided. Our guide Kai was interactive, personable and knowledgeable, definitely recommend a day to the north of Amsterdam! Thank you for an awesome day!

Leidse is good and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Dutch culture and had an amazing time. The only problem is we are seated next to driver which is not comfortable.
