This day trip to Zaanse Schans and Giethoorn offers free hotel pick-up service in Amsterdam. This unique tour has maximum 8 persons* per group, so we can have full focus on each individual traveller. A luxury and comforable mini van (Mecedes brand) will wait for you in front of your hotel. A bottled water will be provided to each traveller. Power bank, umbrella are provided and free to use during whole trip. In the morning, you would visit a Dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoe factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that we will travel to Giethoorn, you would discover the 'Green Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn. This trip is suitable for the travellers who want to spend more time in two places. This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with lots of beautiful photos. *Please note: at the peak season, we might combine two groups together, but we will contact you in advance about this.

Traveler pickup is offered

- Please be prepared and wait in front of your hotel 5 minutes before our arrival.
- We offer hotel pick-up service for all the hotels in the highway Ring A10, excluding north part of the IJ River. Travelers can take free ferry to central station from north Amsterdam. We don't pick up from the airport area.
- One day before the tour, we will contact you regarding the exact hotel pick up time. We pick up between 8:00 - 8:30.

    At Zaanse Schans, the natural windmill village, you would first have a private guided Dutch cheese factory tour, to know how to make Gouda cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different flavors of cheese. After that, you will visit a Dutch wooden shoes factory, over here you would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the 'Royal Lady' diamond with 268 facets. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take a lot of photos.

    This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private demonstration to understand how to make traditional Dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 26 different flavors.

    After Zaanse Schans, we will travel to Giethoorn. You would explore the ‘Green Little Venice’ of the Netherlands. You will enjoy about 3-4 hours here to explore the sights by yourself and your loved ones. we include 1 hour traditional boat cruise here. But if you want, you could cruise your own boat by yourself, that would have more fun with your family or friends.

Our guide Koen was great in communicating. He kept in touch with us as he was slightly delayed. The trip was long but worth it. Koen gave us good tips and interesting facts about the places. Would recommend it. We went on Saturday so it was crowded.

Wonderful tour – smooth, fun, and personal! Great communication from the start, and they even offered free pickup from our Airbnb — super convenient. They were flexible in adjusting the activity for my family, which made it stress-free and enjoyable. Our guide (Kai) was both funny and informative, striking the perfect balance between entertainment and insight. The small group size made it feel personal, and we had just the right amount of time to explore, shop, and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
