We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines
All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security

We had a very disappointing visit to the Sagrada because our guide on group 2 at 4pm spoke with a heavy accent and very fast so we could not understand what he said. We were suppose to do the tower elevator as part of our visit but guide vanished after you and we could not do the tower without our tickets he had . Very poor system. We went to Julia tours but they said they could not help as tickets were purchased from Trip Advisor

Tour was fine, but we paid for the towers and they were not open. We were promised a refund for that portion but never received it.
