Small groups of 10 travelers maximum in a small comfortable van. We will pick you up at the meeting point 5 50 am, We want to get early to Chichen Itza to enjoy it without crowds, the heat and have amazing pictures. Our professional licensed tourguide will explain the history and the importance of the mayan city. Afterwards we will take a 45 minutes drive to meet a family in a small mayan community, they gonna let us swimm and enjoy their private underground cenote which they found not so many years ago. You will also enjoy a degustation of the best gastronomy of the Yucatan with the real home flavors, we'll move to Izamal yellow town to climb a mayan pyramid that is within the city, enjoy a tasty icecream and visit the old convent and church of the city.At the end of the day we will return to Merida.. The food experience includes guacamole, panuchos, salbutes, relleno negro, cochinita pibil, hand made tortillas, hibiscus flower cold tea & fresh fruit

Hernan was a fantastic guide, very educated on Mayan history, religion, culture and cosmology. We were the first to enter Chichen Itza and finished our tour before the heat of the day. He then took us to private home where we swam in a cenote owned by a family, who cooked us lunch. We were their only customers that day! We finished with a tour of Izamal--could have use a bit more time there but given how much driving we did we were pretty tired. Highly recommended tour and we were very pleased--if you like a more private experience.

An amazing day.✨! We've been picked up at the hotel in Cancun early in the morning to beat the line in Chichen Itzá. The site is powerful and what can be learnt by talking with and listening to the guide is very interesting . From there we drove to a private cenote and had a delicious hand made traditional meal + exquisite fruits in this lovely family settings. It's been a beautiful and inspiring day. The landscape and the towns we crossed during the drive will stay with me.
