Becoming an SSI Open Water Diver is the best way to start your scuba adventure due to worldwide recognition! With personalized training and attention, your guides make sure you are truly comfortable underwater with the skills and equipment you will use. In general, an Open Water Diver course consists of 3 parts: Academics, Confined and Open Water Sessions.

Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

I came into contact with Dive Center van den Ven by direct colleagues who were recommended by them. I was always curious about my colleagues’ stories because of this I was a bit infected with the virus.
I had planned an introductory dive in advance and it was such a great experience that I decided to continue for my Open Water certification.
Thanks to the great guidance — and especially thanks to Angelique, who helped, motivated and guided me extremely well — I was proud to get my Open Water Certificate!
I can recommend Dive Center van den Ven to anyone who wants to get acquainted with the underwater world or want to continue diving. A top team, beautiful location, and an experience I will never forget!

During my 1st, introductory dive, I became nauseous. We stopped. The nausea came from a sunburn the day before and from my tension.
The diving school showed genuine understanding, listened carefully to me and really saw me. I didn't have to pay for the follow-up dives that were already booked if I didn't continue.
The day after, when I felt good, I chose to continue anyway, partly because of the people-oriented approach of this diving school. The diving school was very flexible in rebooking the follow-up dives.
Step by step I did a dive more with the experienced dive instructor for many years.
Thanks in part to this diving school, I got my Open Water license in today! And that at the age of 57.

Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
