Dear Sirs, as you are aware, on October 14th of this year, I hired from Mexico City and via American Express a Tour called Seville Majestic.
It included a guided tour of Plaza España, Alcazar, Cathedral, Alcazar and the Giralda. We were painfully attended by the Guide Melisa (white complexion woman. ) who does not know her full name, I am late to pick us up arguing excessive trafficking..... which can be avoided by taking due precautions.
From the beginning of the tour he showed a rude, high-minded and high-handed attitude to the questions of tourists in English and Spanish.
One of the tourists had doubts in English and the lady without any empathy tried to explain in a bad English what the tourist asked, so another tourist tried to make the clarification.
After this the Lady Guide was upset and openly in Spanish said that she would give the microphone for the tourist to guide the Tour before a lack of respect , because she knew she was expert and very qualified according to Tripadvisor. ...... Threaten to leave the tour guide.
We got off the bus and he retired to call on the phone we assume the company manager arguing would leave the guide.
Bewildered at this situation we tried to find out what was happening, which was why the guide sent the English-speaking tourists with another guide. For her part she would only address the Spanish speakers.
Trying to help her and be empathetic to the uncomfortable situation we were going through, we told her that there was no misunderstanding and we wanted to continue the tour. The situation that led to Mrs. ́s loss of control over me, shouting at me that she would not include me in her tour and that we should do what we wanted. Unfortunately and as a woman I could not clarify the situation as I would with a man.......In a terrible way before all tourists and highlighting his terrible education I made it clear to my wife and me that by his decision he did not want us in his group.
Surprised at this lack of education, respect and maturity as well as the commitment created for which it is paid in advance, I told her that I had no problem to solve and if she did not fulfill the service for which she was hired, we needed someone else to do it.
He ignored the above, turned around and started his tour.
The rest are known to you and I want to know what measures you will take to avoid tourists such an unfortunate situation. We are not responsible for the immaturity, poor education and lack of ability to speak in English or to guess if the contracted staff – in this case the guide was on “a good day to work or was unwilling to do so”.
We had a very bad experience and regretted the scene that Mrs made before all tourists, calling into question the professionalism that should be had by the commitments made.
Finally, as you know, Mrs. Albadalejo Cordova left the entire Group, and Mr. Ricardo Albadalejo Cordova was in charge. It was assigned to me before my claim. Mr. Ricardo fulfilled the commitment entered into with you with empathy, education, respect and willingness to serve.
