Your Guide Cairín O'Connor has a good insight into Horseracing and the Horse industry in Ireland. She and her team of Guides are Horselovers. They will take you to the Irish National Stud in the morning. There will be a guided tour and time to explore on your own. As the Races are held in various locations the venue for lunch may be a local pub en route to the race track or it may be at the racetrack. You will get to meet a local Jockey and your guide will explain how to study the form and place a bet. There is ample time to socialize at the Racetrack and you can stop for a drink on the way back to Dublin. Irish people love their horses. This tour ensures you are among them for a day.

Be assured we will select the best available for your tour and we will arrange for you to meet a local Jockey who may have a tip or two to share! Please note we reserve the right to suggest a change to the Tour as racing does not take place every day. With this in mind we will confirm your preferred date.

Cairen went above and beyond to craft a day trip for me. As an American equestrian, I wanted to visit the National Irish Stud Farm and get an idea on the horse industry in Ireland. My private tour included that, the new Racing Experience at the farm (which was grand), and a visit to the Japanese Gardens there. We also visited the Curraugh Racetrack (due to Covid there was no racing there) and then a Show Jumper Show at Mullingar. This is where she made my day. I was introduced to the ambassador of the Irish Sport Horse Association, the winning rider of one of the professional classes and an owner/trainer. We finished our day with a dinner at Brazen Head. Cairen is a native who knows her country well. She's a rider and a culinary expert as well. Finally, since I missed a planned tour of Dublin due to a late flight arrival, Cairen not only picked me up at the airport but gave me a walking tour on the city. I couldn't have asked for more.
