We used Deen of Memphis tours for touring the pyramids, the museum, mosques and churches in Cairo. Deen was incredible. He was obviously very knowledgeable of Egyptian history and an excellent teacher. We spent 2 full days with him and enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely recommend Deen and Memphis tours for private tours here

The tour went over two days, on the first day to the Giza and Sakkara pyramids and on the second day first to the Egyptian Museum and in the afternoon to the new Grand Egyptian Museum. Lunch was scheduled for lunch, which was in very good restaurants. On the first day with a view from the roof terrace of the restaurant to the great pyramids of Giza. The driver for the two days led his vehicle and the passengers safely through the chaotic traffic of the giant metropolis Cairo for us. The guide was extremely proficient in the archaeology and history of Egypt, spoke very good German and was also able to answer general questions about the lives of the people of Egypt today. In the two days there was a sailing boat trip on the Nile (on the Nile it was quiet compared to busy Cairo), visits to a textile shop, a carpet weaving shop and a shop offering pictures on papyrus. The accommodation was centrally located not far from Tahrir Square in the Steigenberger Hotel, which was quiet inside and shielded from the noise of the city.
