Chocolate Bar Making York is home to some of the world's most famous chocolate bars. Join us in our academy and learn how to create your very own chocolate bar. You will discover our cocoa origins, we will show you how to temper chocolate, and you will experiment with different flavours to perfect your masterpiece! Once the bars have set, you will package your creations to be enjoyed at home. Who is it suitable for? Perfect for chocolate lovers of all ages and abilities who want to learn more of the secrets to create their own gorgeous chocolates at home. Please note that we recommend that children under 13 years accompanied by a full paying adult participant Please note: During this workshop participants are able to work with their own choice of chocolate and ingredients. This workshop is suitable for participants with special dietary requirements, but please do contact our team for any specific needs.

I booked this as part of my partner's 40th birthday itinerary. We arrived late as the address given took us to the wrong chocolate shop on google maps. Seems this happens a lot so be careful when looking for the location. When we arrived, they were very accommodating and got us to our table. The young man Jamie, taking the class took time to update us on what we missed as soon as he could. He was very informative and confident, very happy to answer all our questions. We made a bar of chocolate each and were advised on what flavours and toppings go well together. Afterwards they were left to set while we went for a coffee in the cafe which was very reasonably priced. Jamie packaged up the bars lovely ready to collect. Would recommend this little activity to anyone, couples, family or friends.

I did the chocolate bar making with my 9 year old. There was a mixture of couples and families there too. Thought it was just the right length- the right balance of information and chocolate bar making. The person leading it was friendly and clear. We had a lovely time, and enjoyed our chocolate bars too.
