Chocolate Bar Making York is home to some of the world's most famous chocolate bars. Join us in our academy and learn how to create your very own chocolate bar. You will discover our cocoa origins, we will show you how to temper chocolate, and you will experiment with different flavours to perfect your masterpiece! Once the bars have set, you will package your creations to be enjoyed at home. Who is it suitable for? Perfect for chocolate lovers of all ages and abilities who want to learn more of the secrets to create their own gorgeous chocolates at home. Please note that we recommend that children under 13 years accompanied by a full paying adult participant Please note: During this workshop participants are able to work with their own choice of chocolate and ingredients. This workshop is suitable for participants with special dietary requirements, but please do contact our team for any specific needs.

Had an amazing time and learnt some new things about how best to melt chocolate. I really enjoyed making my own chocolate bar and tasting the samples. The guy who held our class was lovely and very clear would definitely do it again.

This was really enjoyable and much better than expected. We went as a family group with two 16 year olds and two 21 year olds. The workshop took an hour and was informative and fun. We booked this as part of a day trip to York for my daughter’s birthday. Well worth the money

Took my two small kids to the workshop, and they really enjoyed it. Staff were super lovely on arrival and throughout. We were early so I grabbed a latte in the cafe, and my gosh, was their coffee good! My kids really enjoyed the process of melting, pouring and decorating the chocolate. My kids are 2 & 5yrs and they managed fine in the workshop. Even when my youngest kept just eating the chocolate and talking, the host was really lovely and helpful.
