This combined husky and reindeer package is specially designed for those who would like to get the most of Lapland in a short period of time. You will be taken to a reindeer farm and for a short visit and safari. After visiting the reindeer, you will meet huskies and enjoy of a husky ride before heading back to Rovaniemi.

The experiences are overall very pleasant, but seeing these animals dragging sleds for our enjoyment arouses a little tenderness. I must admit I would have preferred to visit the reindeer farm without having to take the sleigh ride. That said, everything is really lovely: the place surrounded by the nature of the Arctic Circle and the animals, so sweet, are really fascinating to observe.

A really well organised experience for the family, picked up on time and taken first to a Reindeer Farm in the middle of the Finnish forests, met and greeted by our local guide and explained the itinerary. We then had a sleigh ride through the forest before feeding the reindeer. Children loved every minute. Following the experience we then heading in for a hot drink and biscuit whilst being told information about the reindeer and how they are managed and looked after. Once this ended we were then taken back to Santas Village where we had our husky experience, we were taken straight to the sledges and were straight into our ride (no waiting) the kids loved this, Even taking what they learnt and pretending they were huskies mushers. Following our ride through the forests we then headed back for a talk from one of the handlers who was very informative and engaging. Here we got a warm drink around an open fire. After this to end we were then left to explore and meet the huskies at our leisure. The kids loved being able to pet some of the dogs and meet them close up. It was a great experience and one I would definitely recommend. Special mention for our guide Alex who was always willing to chat and offer his knowledge not only about our tour but others too, including places to go and see the northern lights etc. Children aged 5 & 9 and were engaged and excited throughout.

This was an amazing tour. The Reindeer farm was absolutely beautiful. The farm owner was so knowledgeable and spent time answering questions. The Husky farm was so much fun, the dogs loved to be pet and loved on! Alex was our tour facilitator and he was great at making sure we were at the right place at the right time.
