A really good historical walk through Halifax. Pier 21, the Public Gardens, the walk up to the Citadel with the views of the harbour and all with a great narrative from our tour guide Ian.

Ian was a very knowledgeable guide! Being in a small group was great except that the other 3 members of our group of 5 were elderly, one had on unsupportive sandals, and 2 were hardly able to walk much less go up hills and steps! Ian was thoughtful in suggesting a cab on a couple of occasions but they declined. It was challenging to wait on these 3 almost every step of the way! I feel like my husband and I could have seen more if we had not been so encumbered. I wish there was a way to require an ability to walk at a moderate speed for one to take this tour.
