    This trekking gives the opportunity to reach one of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia. Our guides pick you up and manage the transfer from town to the mountains. You start the trek at the area of “Buchi arta”, where we will see some old shepherd's huts. You descend a gorge walking by giant old Juniper trees and surrounded by the Mediterranean scrub, time by time the path gives us evocative panoramas over the savage Supramonte and we arrive at the wide canyon of “Codula di Luna”. After that, the trail follows the dry river bed until we arrive at the beautiful beach of Cala Luna, famous for its beauty. There you will have time to have a well deserved lunch and a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear sea. After lunch we will hike back to the car walking on a steep path, this is the harder part of the trekking. Total duration of the trek is around 4 hours and a half For those who want to spend more time on the beach, there is the opportunity to get the harbor of Cala Gonone by boat having a nice trip in the Golfo di Orosei and making the hike less tiring.

Absolutely amazing day. Sergio is the best tour guide ever, he has a wealth of knowledge about the island, plants, how the rocks are formed and is more than happy to chat and answer questions. He is so friendly and really makes the whole experience relaxing. We were staying in Orosei so we were picked up from outside our hotel and headed towards Dorgali for another collection, then headed on towards the start of the trail. The trail is very rocky, hiking shoes/boots recommended because it is also slippery. The whole hike is absolutely stunning, the scenery is incredible and we did have some shade heading down in the morning but take plenty of water! We had a few drink stops and a snack stop on the way to make sure everyone was hydrated. We then got to Cala Luna and it was beautiful, the caves really make it stunning. We then opted to pay a small extra fee and get the boat back to Cala Gononne as it was incredibly hot by the time we were meant to head back. The whole experience and landscape was really incredible. I am so glad we booked it and Sergio is the most perfect guide.

Sergio, che ci ha guidato in tutto, è una persona stupenda, metterebbe a proprio agio chiunque. Ci ha guidato con la sua Land Rover sul punto di partenza del trekking. Lungo il percorso ci ha incuriosito con delle informazioni sulla natura del luogo, sulla vegetazione e quant’altro senza mai risultare noioso. Il gruppo con il quale ci siamo trovati era ben assortito per età, e Sergio è stato molto bravo a gestire anche le soste. Non sottovalutare sicuramente la cosa come una “passeggiata nel bosco” , è molto piacevole ma può essere impegnativo per chi normalmente è sedentario. È sicuramente tra le esperienze più belle fatte in Sardegna. La discesa prevede l’arrivo a Cala Luna , qualche ora di sosta, e poi a scelta si poteva risalire con Sergio oppure optare per un rientro in barca. Poi Sergio , dal porticciolo faceva staffetta al punto di incontro dove si aveva parcheggiato. Noi abbiamo scelto di risalire a piedi , perché la bellezza dell’esperienza sta proprio in questo. Camminare nella natura incontaminata, godendo di profumi, pace e scenari bellissimi. Se avessi avuto più giorni avrei fatto altre esperienze con Sergio. Quando tornerò in quelle zone Jebel Sardinia sarà il mio punto di riferimento per altri tour. Un abbraccio Ettore & Christian
