I regret that I need to write a warning to future patrons of this company, Japan Tours, and its main agent, Shazad. He was moderately responsive to my texts to him explaining that we were a group of eight and once I never got a reply at all. At times he was rude and he forgot to send me the final details for meeting the guide. The day of the tour I noticed our Viator tickets described us as a group of six even though I had booked the larger van that holds nine. Shazad denied that I had stated four times that our group was eight, scolded me for changing the terms the last day and charged me $50 for two "extra" guests. Thanks to the additional guide we hired from Japan Tours, the extra $100 was waived. Do not deal with Shazad and Japan Tours. He cannot be trusted.
