Excellent tour, Joomart was a great guide. Good English and very friendly. Most of the guesthouses were really good and provided good food. The last guesthouse wasn’t great but it was under renovation. The views on the tour are incredible.

The trip was amazing. The organizers were responsible and answered all questions. The driver was friendly, responsible, and professional. The places we visited were unbelievably beautiful. The trip program was created with attention to detail, ensuring nothing important was missed. I definitely recommend it for those looking to join a group for the Paint Highway.

My husband and I (both 31), had a brilliant time on the 9 Day Osh to Dushanbe trip! Sali, our driver/guide delivered a master class in driving extremely tricky roads- I am a nervous passenger and I felt safe and was grateful to him every day, especially on the unsealed roads heading toward Langar. The views on the Panorama Ridge hike and the Engels Peak hike were mind-bogglingly good, and the pacing of the hikes was just right - enough time to recover between them. I was surprised by the high quality of the accommodations, and we were very comfortable each night. I think if we had gone earlier in the year we would have had more yurt experiences, but we felt that this was the right time of year to see the autumn colours coming in. (And we had stayed in many yurts in Kyrgyzstan). For what we saw and experienced, and the ease of travel, this tour is great value for money. It can feel a little tight in the car if all 4 passenger seats are taken if one person is larger, but we made it work. We were very pleased also to be invited to share in a family celebration with Sali, and we met some great people on the road, including one of the hotel owners, Risvai, a charming gent. I highly recommend Sali and Visit Alay for a Pamirs trip, it’s a bucket list trip!
