This place is considered to be the main view of the Alpine Austria, but no picture can show a splendid atmosphere of this town and its original character. During your free time you will have enough time for lunch and walking through the narrow streets of the town and admire magnificent views of the lake and huge mountains or you can hire a boat for your own expenses.

    You will take a lift to the World Heritage Skywalk where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the town, lake and mountains. Please note that during travel Jan 13, - Feb 3, 2024 the Skywalk is closed and a visit to Admont Abbey is planned instead.

  • Since most places don’t accept cards in Hallstatt, we advise you to bring some cash for boats and street food, as well as 50-cent coins for the toilets.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Started our trip to Europe with Hallstatt. It’s beautiful and was well supported by our tour manager Sofia. She’s amazing on her subject.. good knowledge on the history of Austria and its beautiful places. Also, she has an amazing sense of humour, calm and composed. She supported us well on our trip.. truly had a memorable time at Hallstatt. Would recommend to travel with 7 Travel
