You’ll certainly get your money’s worth, and the guides work hard. Some things to consider: The description of a maximum of 12 per tour is not accurate. There are two wooden boats, and if fully packed, each holds 12 guests. So, there are a maximum of 24 guests, and you’re together all day except for the nature hike (best to be in the front group because the wildlife is startled off before the second group arrives) and the time in the boats. Ice cold beer and sodas were available at lunch for 10 reals/$2 USD. Credit cards ok too. Water is supplied in 2 L bottles, so bring a smaller bottle of your own to refill. Lunch was plentiful with chicken and fish etc. The wooden boat seats are HARD. We awoke the next day with serious bruises and blisters. The mosquitos on the hike are EPIC. The guides don’t carry bug spray, and you must have some. A long, full day.
