This is a good (long) day tour. Our guide Debbie provided a great history of both Harburg Castle, Rothenburg and German history, generally which I really enjoy as it provides so much more appreciation for what I’m seeing. Historically, Harburg castle is very interesting - though not as picturesque as Neuwachenstein Palace. Rothenburg is an absolute delight. Even though I felt I’d seen quite a few historical / medieval German buildings before I got here, it is amazing. Every corner is an interesting new vista. Of course, there are wonderful little shops and eateries as well as the amazing historical architecture and history. This tour was really good. My only negative would be that we had a double decker bus which makes for a massive tour group which can be difficult when you have to wait for so many people to catch up / try to hear over the crowd. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

The tour of the Harburg Castle and Rothenberg was excellent. Both locations are very unique and interesting. Rothenberg is right out of a fairy tale; I can't wait to see it in the Winter. Our guide, Debbie, was fantastic. She was extremely information during the bus route and gave simple and explicit instructions throughout the entire tour.

The Harburg visit required additional €10 to enter the castle. There is not much there except going inside the castle. The long trip is really worth about 2hours 45 min visiting Rothenburg. It would be better just to visit Rothenburg alone. The Trip Advisor posted $75 person price and it charged full amount $98. I could rent a car and drive it myself there. Nothing romantic about the trip. The driver and tour guide were good but the trip is too short of visiting time and too hectic.
