Amazing tour with fabulous guide, Sandra. We booked this at mid-day (11:15) about 6 months in advance for our group. It was an overcast day in early April and were concerned about the sun. The canyon is breathtaking and beyond pictures and words. Reminds me of a heaven like dream mixed with an Indiana Jones movie set. We were surprised that the weather around Page is usually not rain but lots of wind and then the clouds make way to allow for sun to enter the canyon for those postcard pictures you see in magazines. The tour itself was about 1 hour and we cannot say enough about Tse and Sandra, our guide. She was so patient, knowledgeable, and fund to be around. We listened to other company’s guides before and after us and they were terrible. Other people ended us joining our group to listen to Sandra.
I will say this is the original Antelope Canyon tour company run by natives. I would highly recommend going mid-day and booking out advance as far as possible. Pricey ($140/pp) but well worth it. They employ super native guides and are top notch. It appears that for non-mid-day time slots, walk ins are possible, but you are not going to see the sun beams like mid day.
Highly, highly recommend. A true highlight of our trip!
