This was the highlight of our trip so far. We got to see the bakery at work and helped make baguettes, financiers, and croissant. Our guide was so kind, funny and knowledgeable. We got to bring all the food we made home. Now we have bread for days.

First, our tour guide was very nice. I will say that…The cooking class as described did not occur and we did not get our money worth. First, they sent us to the wrong bakery to meet. So, was late starting trying to meet up with the guide. Second, the Parisian breakfast did not occur since they cancelled our original time of 8:30 am for the evening. We made some bread, which was fun, but the croissant was literally rolling one piece of pre made dough. We also mixed a bowl of ingredients to make a cookie. Lots of fruit flies in the kitchen too. For the money, absolutely not worth it and we should ask for our money back since we did not get what we paid for.

In the end, when we showed up, they were going to give us a different baking class then we had signed up for. The tour operator was not responsive at all and very, very hard to communicate with. In the end, they said they would give us a refund, but they still have not yet giving us a refund and are not communicating at all. Viator customer service was not helpful. We contacted them for help, but they said we need to deal directly with the Tour operator. But the Tour operator wasn’t responding so we’re basically left in a bit of a black hole with no one helping and nobody taking accountability I have loved at using Viator in the past, but never needed to access them for customer service. After this, it makes me not want to use Viator and for sure not to use this tour operator.
