We were meant to picked up at 07:45 and the transport turned up late. Our guide was Martin Buisson. Travel time overall was long and the light lunch consisted of a cake or small focaccia type bread. Water was provided. We arrived at the beach first where we had photos taken by Martin, our guide. Couples and groups, on the beach and in the ocean. We were asked to form a circle around the buoy when a turtle was seen, trying to form a circle and not get hit or kicked by others when swimming is quite difficult. Overall we saw maybe three turtles. Back to the beach we collected our things and returned life vests when we travelled to the cenote. It is beautiful and again had photos taken. I didn’t go into the cave area due to claustrophobia but my partner did and had more pics taken. Overall we felt this trip was rushed. We paid $50 US dollars for the photos and was informed these would be sent in 72 hours. They were, but only two photos of us and a load of pictures of complete strangers. To top it off the videos are not professional. We are really disappointed that a trip we would like to have treasured in photos is ruined by a guide who clearly stated he was a pro at taking pictures. (Even his wife said he was good) We are unable to share these with family back home. Disappointed actually doesn’t come close, we are angry.

The activities themselves were great, as was our guide, Ruben. He was funny, kind, and very knowledgable. We saw five sea turtles, and it was amazing watching them swim and come up to the surface right next to us - definitely something we’ll always remember. The cenote was also amazing, and it was very interesting and fun to get to swim through the caves. The empanada snack was great too, and the pictures were very responsibly priced ($60 for about 70 digital pictures). We enjoyed everything about the acitivities, though there were some times of just standing around. Our biggest (and only) complaint was that because of where our hotel was (Costa Mujeres), we were the first pickup at 5:30am, and the last drop off around 4:30pm. We were in the shuttle for a total of six hours, and we did not expect that much time going into it. We felt like a lot of our day was lost, unfortunately, because so much was spent traveling to other hotels to pick up or drop off passengers. Also, we’re so grateful to have read other reviews about bringing food with because we would have been starving and very hangry had we not done so, seeing that the only food we were provided with over 11 hours was two small empanadas and a banana. Still, I’m giving this tour five stars because of the acitivities themselves and because of our guide, Ruben.

It was an Easy paced. I Didn’t feel rushed. My children had a great time. We saw many fishes and turtles and had fun swimming in cenotes
