The guides have local knowledge and will take you through a trip deep inside this natural paradise with all the safety and plenty of fun. Enjoy a picnic in a remote idyllic location (or a local meal at a typical restaurant, depending on the weather conditions) before heading back to your hotel. Please let us know in advance about food restrictions or we will consider no food restrictions. Itinerary may be adapted by the guide, to insure that the best experience possible is provided. Factors like the weather, amount of people in the park, or the characteristics of the group will be take into account by the guide throughout the day.

    The road connection Braga to the National Park passes by this location. From the vehicle it will be possible to see the tower of Povoa de Lanhoso Castle.

    Go around the Peneda Geres National Park with experienced and helpful guides. The time spent at the park includes swimming in crystal clear lagoons, hiking in beautiful trails, stopping in typical villages and road connections for a bigger coverage of the area of the park.

To have done the whole park would have taken months if not years, so to see only a tiny portion in one day was perfect and it was such a beautiful place to spend time in and enjoy the wonderful views of nature at its best.

A huge thank you to Fransisco for a fantastic day on Perres-Gere National Park! Very informative and his excellent sense of humour made the trip so memorable and fun. We had this tour booked as part of a surprise trip and it was beyond our expectations. The food at the restaurant was some of the best we’d had in Portugal and the views in the National Park were incredible. Highly recommend!

This was our second tour with Detours, and it didn't disappoint us. We had a fantastic day in Geres National Park. Francisco was our guide; he was full of local knowledge, witty, and funny. We were picked up at our hotel in Porto and dropped back at the door at the end of the day. Thank you, Francisco and Detours, for making such a wonderful experience for us.
