Make and eat your own Mole Poblano ! • Located in the heart of the city center of Puerto Vallarta, ChocoMuseo will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about Mexican cacao, chocolate and Mole Poblano. • We offer chocolate and cooking workshops for those in search of a hands on, unforgettable experience. • During 3 hours, you will taste the essence of Mexico with its fusion spicy chocolate sauce.
  • A jar of your own Mole (to add to your checked luggage).
  • Round-trip taxi transfer to the market (5 mn)
  • All the ingredients we'll buy on the market
  • Non-alcoholic drink made with fruits or plants bought in the market
  • Tour guide within the museum and the market
  • Apron and hat for the duration of the workshop

  • Transportation to and from the museum before and after the workshop

Myself and two other friends took the mole class with Zoar and it was an absolute blast. We had a fun time shopping for food, preparing it while learning how to make it, and definitely eating it. It was 100% made from scratch and better than you’ll probably find in any restaurant. Zoar was amazing, fun, engaging, and very personable. We walked away feeling like we made a new friend or sister.

Absolutely fantastic! Instructor had a fabulous, dry sense of humor but was clearly passionate about cooking an AUTHENTIC Mole! He took his time explaining all the ingredients and what to look for while shopping at the market, and shared lots of tips and tricks while we were cooking. Our group was small so we all get the opportunity, to chop and grind our way to an AMAZING mole dish. Soooooo good!!!!

I loved this Mole class so much I've taken it twice!!! I would easily take it again! You will visit the local markets, butchers, and a tortilla factory to learn about the food history in Puerto Vallarta and throughout Mexico before going back to the Museo for a cooking class that will delight the senses. The class begins around 10:30a and ends around 1:30p. You will eat the best Mole dish of your entire life at the end, you'll leave with a Jar of mole to take home THAT YOU MUST CHECK IN YOUR BAGGAGE OR SHIP HOME. DO NOT CARRY ON.
