The booking fee includes the costs of booking your tickets such as charges for payment processing. It also covers the provision of our customer care center for processing your order, and all charges imposed by our suppliers.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

The shuttle didn't come in time when we had to leave, the customer support had no idea about my reservation and they one hour late. When we saw that they won't arrive in time we called a taxi and we barely got to the airport in time for the flight, we would have missed the flight if we waited for them.
After all this, they refused to give me the refund for half of the price on the trip (retur part) and will only refund the taxi that I took to the airport, which makes no sense.

The airport shuttle situation is chaotic. It was our first time experiencing this. If I ever go back to Punta Cana I will ask the hotel for their preferred concierge.
I had to wait an hour after landing for other couples to arrive to fill up our shuttle before we even left the airport. And then contacting the service to set up my hotel pick up took 4 attempts and was kind of a nuisance.

The carrier never showed up. We were waiting outside the lobby 25 mins prior to the determined time and enquired to all carriers showing up to see if we were on their lists. We finally contacted the operator 25 mins past the agreed time to inquire. We had the Air Canada bus leaving for the airport 10 mins later. Seeing that we weren’t getting any response we hoped onto the bus.
2 mins after departing the hotel, we got a reply stating that the carrier had come, had called our names and had departed. All of which we called bull $&.! on as we were on spot.
We are now in communication with Viator for reimbursement and we are going back and forth as the operator is maintaining the bull. Hopefully Viator will make things right by reimbursing us or else, we’ll have to pass thru our credit card in order to get reimbursed.
It doesn’t always go this way as we normally have great service thru Viator. It appears that in Punta Cana, the operators are in demand between the tours and transfers. So they overbook in order to capitalize and it’s too bad.
It happened to us twice on this trip thru 2 different operators. In La Romana last year, they were on point. Most important thing is to not let it ruin your vacation and always keep a plan B it your original plan doesn’t materialize. ????
